CSS3 Box Shadow Tricks

January 26, 2014

Recently, while I was meandering through the web, I ran across these 2 great links for CSS3 box shadow tricks. I have always used rasterized images for these kinds of shadows before, but now it looks like I won’t have to!

1 – The first link shows a variety of tricks you can do with the box shadow. The article is written by Paulund, one of the most prominent web masterminds of the modern era. You can check it out over here.

2 – The other is a short demo of a box shadow used as a product shadow underneath of images. It’s similar to Effect #6 in Paulund’s article. If you’re specifically looking for this kind of shadow, check it out right here. This demo was made by Isaac Keyet – a designer for WordPress and Automattic.
